Building an interactive mini game review .!(;

I have learned that you have to spend some time learning about all the keys and actions before you make a game .also you have to learn where & when to put them in .
At first I thought it was easy but then I learned in time that even for a bunny to move everywhere with arrows , we're still gonna need some time and action's .
It also makes me change my view of games I play , it makes me realize that it actually took effort to make games I like since the games I play are advance .
Not that i'm picky .(:

I'm interested in the action genres. Mostly because their more hard to do though .I like when someone gives me a challenge because then I can put myself up to a challenge instead of Finishing something so easy to even begin with . 
I learned that ll games can be simuller ,yet so different just of what you you can do with it . The actions were also a big surprise too. The genres are what makes the games different too , but I myself would go with action .
One of the game features that stood out were the music , because you had to do quite a bit just to place a sound n their , then you had to put a action just to enable the sound .
This was also the most interesting to me .also i'm stuck on doing a timer , its too difficult .
Can somebody help me do the timer thingy ?:O

Present your hidden object game . !c;

My game is called "Can You See It" it's sap-post to teach young adults that not just kids but them to can misplace things anywhere .
So what I did is put random objects in 2 places , so that it wouldn't seem like one area was just a magnet for trash . I did have to research some things though .I had to research what where the most common places for trash and the age that most people litter . I also had to research how to blend them in and that pacific garbage patch (the cycle of the trash island that swirls in the pacific) , on how it deals with trash on the edge of water .
After all the research and what it's sap-post to teach , I did have problems on the main subject . I was going for such an advance subject that I didn't think about what I can do . I didn't even get to put a timer because I was so confused on how to out i in and where .
Still I did get allot of programming done while inserting game ingredients ! I put button codes(actions), changing screen codes , hidden object codes , disappearing codes , and even a music code ! and all them together made my special game . I actually felt proud that I did it all by myself too . The only thing I didn't get done was the timer sadly ): .
The timer was one of my most difficult besides clicking-on-the-last -object-and-yay-you-one action, but I didn't get that done either .The timer is still very confusing because I don't know where to put the actions and what to name the box .
Still i'm proud that I finished my game and  made my winning and lose screen .

Adding Game Ingredients !

At first it was easy because I just had to remember where I got my actions from last year , to make a next slide and buttons .
Then what really got me is that i had to put sound this year and I had to figure it out on my own .
Last yeah she did this step by step thing with her , but this yeah this will make us better at finding things.
So she told us to find everything on our own .
I ended up finding it and making it into a button , I put Nicki Manaj but I think is to loud !>..<
My bad , I was gonna just take it off but I didn't have enough time . So I ended up doing a in and lose screen  , and a music button . (:
After that I worked on the timer , this this was the most crucial thing that held me back , I didn't even now what to do ! /.\ But I kept trying and trying and trying but I never accomplished my goal .
After that I just quit on the timer & tried to make a 2nd level but still no , so i just put buttons & a simple message their instead . So yeah those are my game ingredients ! :D

drawing a background

Drawing in flash was a little bit difficult , because you had to trace the image .
Also I draw horrible so I decided to use flash tools .
It worked out really good , because I didn't take to long or to little to finish the drawing .
 right now i'm almost done with the objects , and I'v already done the things to make it blended in .  So basically I just ned to trace more objects , put the action , then I will put the instructions and title . So yeah , that's my game so far .(:

Play To Learn part 1 !

I played synchronized saviors -by Michael , Miguel & Merrick- and Eat turtle eat -by Ms.valdes  & I learned that in S.S that they used graphic moving objects , hidden elements , and drag and drop element .
In "Eat Turtle Eat" she used the moving arrows ,timer , and change color element .
They both had elements that I can use for my game and that's good because I get ideas on what I can do for my game .
So Thank you guys fro helping me get started !

Paper prototype

The websites helped me get on track because at first I didn't know how to draw it or what to do as my game topic , but then I realized that I should do trash because people are constantly polluting without even caring !
Like when that pacific trash land news came up , nobody cared , but I bet they would care If they lived in a trash house . -.-
So that's why I want to do a game about thins that don't belong because, one day you'll be looking back and saying "look at all them clues they gave me about trash , and I didn't even listen ."
And I'm going to be the only one in a clean environment . So to start helping i'm gonna start small by drawing , then creating a game, talking more about it , and helping clean .
& that's all about why i'm doing the paper prototype , and what it can help with .

Plan game scene

My game is gonna have a forest background , mixed with a park background .
That way own half will have feces and the other half will have things that don't belong their.
I will put allot of objects in their to get you confused . Then I will hide all the objects in the picture , & to get a score you have to move around objects to find the trash / feces in the park & forest .
  Their will be 2 level's & the 2nd one will be harder because their will be more obstacles & objectives .
In order to go to the next level you have to find the next button , and have a certain score .
I will put allot a colors & I will try and put sound , so now the only thing I have to do is find the actions to this game .

Game objective

The reason I chose this game topic is because , I love animals and one day I want to be a vet .
Their are many reasons I chose this but , other than that I want to teach everyone that little things matter too.
We can be gentle with animals and give them another chance to live , to breath , and fight for their life .
But they can't do it alone , so people have to help these animals , they can be trained , & they shouldn't be abandoned they can help catch criminals , and be their for you when you need an allie .
Some are so big they can help you hunt , and exrsise with you .
Some are so small they can make you smile , in need :)
So you see you shouldn't harm animals just because they don't have a home .
and that's why i'm making this game .
To have fun while , while helping them . :D

Game Review Blog 1

                                      Game Design

This game is about pollution , it called "Synchronized Saviors" and this is one of my favorite games , it by Michael , Miguel  and Merrick .

This game goes through a drag and drop action , and then it tells facts about the world , and what we can do about it .

These are the fallowing facts of level 1:

1. Did you know the world has currently 7 billion people living on it !? ....and mre humans means more trash .

Level 2 :

1.  Did you know that every day 60,000 plastic bags are thrown away into our rivers and oceans .
2. Did you know that one drop of oil contamanates 20 gallons of water !?
3. Theirs more but you get the point(:

First Month Of School !:D

The First Month Of School Was Amazing ! I Got To Know Allot of People From Last Year & More . I met Some New Friends too, Their Great !:D
The Clasess Are Something Else Though . Like Some Of The Clasess Teach Me  Than Others, But One Or two clasess I don't Like because I Can Bairly Learn .-.-
Also They Get us In Trouble Just For Accusing Us. Like What The Heck . :|
Other Than That I'm Doing Great , But I Need To Work On Math Though.
Also We Need To Have More Free Time , Were To "Tight" Here .
The Lunches Too ! eww. (Shiver)But , At Least It Keeps Us Alive.

Spirit of the marathon!!!!!

This week we watched Spirit of the Marathon. It was a documentary that followed six people -out of  hundreds of people running-as they trained for and ran the 2005 Chicago Marathon.  

A marathon, is a group of people from anywhere, that run together 26.2 miles, anywhere in the world.
I think the reason people do marathon's is because they like to run, and they would like to achieve their goal. I found the story with Mokto/Daniel Njenga interesting.He came from Kenya  to Japan to start a marathon  and finally win 1st place because that was his goal since he kept getting 2nd place. He also wanted to train for the Boston and Chicago marathon.
People who attended and were interviewed for the maratgon are: 
Deena Kastor, who had won the bronze medal in the women's marathon in the 2004 Olympics, 
Daniel Njenga, the runner from Kenya, 
Ryan Bradley who wanted to qualify for the Boston marathon but injured his knee and was unable to run so instead cheered on his wife, 
Lori O'Connor who was running to raise money for a charity, 
Leah Caille who was a single mother and had recently been divorced, and 
Jerry Meyers who was the 70 year old man running with his daughter.I also thought this story with the dad and daughter was really bonding and cute. 

The people in the film were motivated by things inside them, not by money or fame. I know that i'm not a runner but I would like to start running a bit, to get in shape.Haahaa! but, anyways I would like to become a vetanerian. As I accomplish my goal I will study science.

There is a famous phrase, "It's a marathon, not a sprint?" Ill explain later.

My game!!♥

Me and my partner Rubi did a final game called "Oil Disaster."
It is about a girl racing time to get the main bad guy, and stop him from putting the last bit of oil in the ocean!!And you have to pass him side kicks on the way as well!!
I wanted two levels on it , but I didn't get to finish, so I made one.
I also wanted to put a timer , and I dint know how.
If I had a chance to change it I would have put 3 level's , better looking enemy's for oil people, and a timer.
I really liked the fact that I had a hero to go through the game , the screens for you lose and you win work, and that I even had a chance to work with somebody.

Final Game Reflection!!:D

Yay!! The year is almost up!! and still their so much to learn in globaloria , one of the things that got me interested were the games that actually moved!! Also iv learned how to do that and make a part of player move while doing something else! their are so many interesting things that I've learned like how to make enemy's , hero's and platforms!!
I actually think I got better at recognizing some of the actions for buttons and a little on platform game making. Last year I didn't really  have much of a hard time finding help on the game-making concept , but this year I did get some help from friends and the teacher as well.
While doing my "wolf quest" game -this was my 2nd to last game I tried to make-I learned that in yellow stone their are endangered gray wolfs!! and while making another game named "Oil Disaster" with Rubi O.(my partner) , I learned that their are still oil spills around the world , especially in yellow stone, national park.
Iv'e also found out a little more things about my self as well.
I found out that even if you don't know somebody as a friend or partner you can be if you just work together, so yes I actually found out some help from people is a good thing. So next time i'm stuck on something, I can ask the people around me.
This year I think quit a few of people got more confident with what they can do with computers, I know I did.
One valuable thing that I learned this year is working together and feeling confident, in what you do and for who you are.
 I think the most challenging thing I did in globaloria , is to make the platform game, oh!! and don't even get me started in keeping the score moving with the hero  in a platform game!!

♥Last 3 weeks♥ 'Platform Game♥*

For the past three weeks we have been working on our platform game .I gotta say I did enjoy making a platform game because we worked in groups and we had to talk to other people and find out whats wrong,we also had to make people/characters,And a place for them to walk.

I also learned some of the codes we have to put in the make our screen move,and we got to make a "you lost" screen if, you know you lost.HaHaa!

I also learned that I can bairly draw in flash but  tools can help me.

My favorite thing about this project that we're doing now is that we are making the screen move, and the people around that help,and my least favorite thing is that I still cant find that one error in my     codes!I never said this was going to be easy but I gotta say this is a quit challenging task to accomplish.The reason I think it's challenging is because we have to put codes and some times I get distracted.

2012!! New yearss Break!!:D

♥For Christmas break I had a sleepover and I went to Sea World!!

On the first week i had a sleepover with my friend and had so much fun.

Then on the second week I went to sea world with her!

I went on this ride the swirls in circles(my favorite ride),it was so much fun!

Then I went on this wet cold ride with water splashing everywhere! Berrr!

I was to afraid to go on the steel ell again though, its this huge scary roller coaster.

Man I chickened out! Boo.

I had so much fun because on New years because we stayed on hotel and watched the count down!!

Also for my new years resolution I wanted to get better grades, listen to my teachers and parents,do homework, take care of my dog,be responsible,be helpful, be cheerful,thankful, and Live my life to the fullest!
